Ellipse Technology
The Ellipse system is developed in cooperation
with leading dermatologists. The clinical performance is proven from
years of use in clinics all over Europe. The patent pending Dual
Mode Filtering in Ellipse Flex ensures a unique combination of high
efficiency and low risk of side effects. In other words the Ellipse
technology ensures a wide therapeutic window.
All light passes the circulating cooling water in the handpiece
before it hits the skin of the client. All energy which is likely to
cause unspecific heating of the water in the tissue cells is
absorbed and removed. This ensures a maximum of energy to the target
and a minimum of energy to non-target structures. For hair removal,
the curved tip of the light guide is gently pressed against the skin
surface. This brings you closer to the hair follicle, it pushes away
perfused blood in the transmission path towards the target, and
recycles scattered photons - all leading to higher efficiency.
